Problem
We are addressing a $421 billion finance gap for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Africa. This gap is particularly concerning given that MSMEs account for 90% of all businesses in the region. The challenge is exacerbated by inequitable credit scoring methods, poor infrastructure, and complex regulatory compliance procedures. These barriers hinder MSMEs' access to essential capital and support necessary for their growth and sustainability. As a result, addressing this financing gap is crucial for fostering economic development and job creation across Africa.
