To empower, facilitate, coach, and mentor young people and women to economic safety using fashion and design. In this, we aim to contribute to the well-being of the people, the protection of the global environment, and effect a real positive change in Africa.
There is unmet physical, psychological and social needs of pregnant and breastfeeding African women due to lack and inaccessibility of affordable maternity wears on the African market. Many studies have shown that women in their pregnancy and breastfeeding period experience several difficulties due to the increase of size and change of their bodies, restricted body movements, joint pains, limited social interactions, increased sensitivity to their body image and beauty. The unavailability and inaccessibility of maternity wears on African market have many negative implications on the quality of life of mothers and their babies limiting their freedom and health which is a barrier to experience satisfying motherhood and stimulating childhood.
Our solution is to design, produce and distribute affordable maternity wears that meet physiological, psychological, social needs of both pregnant and breastfeeding women for online store and offline
